New LED light compared with old lamp through welders glass (DIN nr 9).

Upper LED, lower old light source (end of glass rod)

Lower LED, upper old light source (end of glass rod), though with misaligned lamp position it is not as bright as it can be.

This is the test circuit of the new LED light. Left: red, green, blue and white LED. Right: a small test circuit board for constant current source for LEDs. Power for LEDs come from battery (far right) or from DC power supply (top).
